I came in to Missoula from Maryland visiting friends who are big fans. We saw you guys at The Badlander. The sound could have been better, but I really love your music! I just picked up your CD at Rockin’ Rudy’s. It is really, really good. I hope you are playing Missoula the next time I am out this way.

Just so you know, cause you might like to know how one person came to hear your music: I was listening to NPR one fine Sunday and I heard the opening notes of “Saul Whitewater” and hurried to the NPR website for info. (I was sure it was Neil Young or Jason Molina.)

I found out it was you guys but wasn’t able to find much of your music online. Luckily, I checked back a couple a months later and there it was—$8 for the whole flippin’ album! Good deal for some fine music.

I came to Hi Dive in Denver last Thursday as a request of a friend, but I’m so glad I did. Your music is so wonderful! Everything from the lyrics to the way each instrument connects perfectly in a way that uplifts each other yet stands on it’s own. You all are fabulous

Kenny and I loved your band — your sound — your lyrics — your stage presence. We’ve been listening to your album every day and the only fault I can find with it is that it’s doesn’t have more songs on it. Nate n all – love the sound, and being able to look at the lyrics offers another level of enjoyment (although I must now admit that I had some of the lyrics seariously bass ackwards in my brain). Being able to see the words adds a weird sort of confidence and increased enjoyment in listening. E.g, Hairlip was kind of a song I kind of ‘listened’ to before, but now it raises the hair on the back of my neck. On a side note, I swear I hear some Sonic Youth spoken melodies in your hall and lovn it. Lookn forward to you guys comming back to zoo town.
